Entering the world of skin care is a difficult, confusing thing. It takes a lot of knowledge not only about your skin, but about potential products as well to get properly involved in skin care. One product that people have a lot of trouble with is exfoliators. They’re not usually listed on those websites that give you a skin care routine based on your skin type, and many say that they’re too harsh for most people’s skin. But, I’ve found a few exfoliators I like a lot. My favorite exfoliators are usually Korean. To make it easy for everyone else, I compiled a list of what I believe to be are the best Korean exfoliator products.
I was happy to try a bunch of different Korean exfoliators. They smell delicious, and they come in some of the cutest packaging I’ve seen. It’s hard for me not to pick up most of the ones I see. But, I’ve cut down. I created a list of what I think are some of the best Korean exfoliators based on how effective they are, and how little they irritate my skin. My skin is sensitive, so even some of the gentlest things set it off. But, these didn’t. Here’s my list of the best Korean exfoliators.
Best Korean Exfoliator: Skinfood Black Sugar Wash Off
Skinfood is a popular brand in Korea as well as Japan. They have a couple different wash off exfoliators like this one, but with different scents. But, I happen to find the black sugar was off one to be the best. It acts like a mask. You wash your face, gently rub the exfoliator into your skin, and leave it there for 10 minutes. Then you can just wash it off. It gets rid of dead skin cells easily. After you take it off, your skin is much softer than it was before, and less likely to get clogged with debris.
Best Korean Exfoliator: RE:P Bio Fresh Mask with Real Calming Herb
This exfoliator is perfect for those with sensitive skin like me. Like the Skinfood one, this exfoliator is also a mask. But first off, there are two types of exfoliants: physical and chemical. Physical is what harms most people’s skin. This is a chemical clay mask. The clay draws out any impurities and toxins in your face to reveal smoother, healthier skin. And, to stop further irritation, it contains things like chamomile that soothe your skin.
Best Korean Exfoliator: Mizon Apple Smoothie Peeling Gel
This is another chemical exfoliant. The only thing I don’t like about this is that it smells so good, I’m always tempted to eat it. Don’t do this, it does not taste as good as it smells. This gel takes a lot less time than the other two masks. After you wash your face, you apply the gel and leave it on for only a minute or two, and then you can rinse it off. Your skin will look softer, healthier, and flake free almost instantly.
