Being a woman brings on a set of challenges that men usually don’t have to face. And, one of these challenges can be the most physically and emotionally draining of them all: menopause. If you’re an adult woman, you’re probably familiar with menopause. It’s the time in your life when your body starts leaving its reproductive years. However, that simple definition does not quite touch on how uncomfortable this time can really be. Many women seek out relief from a variety of sources, including medications and supplements. Today, we’re going to be talking about one of these products, Menoquil.
If you’re going through perimenopause, menopause, or postmenopause (yes, there are multiple stages), you know how horrible the symptoms often are. So, products that are designed to address these symptoms are certainly in high demand. However, you might not know what to look for in a menopause supplement. That’s why we wanted to take a crack at a Menoquil review. However, before we get started in this supplement review, we want to remind you that your doctor or gynecologist is a great resource for helping you deal with issues that you experience with menopause. So, talking to her about products like Menoquil is also a good place to start after you read this review.
What Is Menoquil?
You might have heard about Menoquil online. This is a dietary supplement that claims to help you take control of your life with menopause, without prescription drugs. (If you are already taking a prescription medication, this is a friendly reminder NOT to discontinue use of your prescriptions until your doctor says it’s okay.) We’ll be discussing more details on Menoquil as we continue this review. However, the most important thing to know about this supplement is that it claims to help balance your hormones (specifically estrogen) to impact the severity of menopause symptoms.
Menoquil and Menopause Symptoms
Before we go much further, let’s talk about some of these specific symptoms that Menoquil claims to address. After all, every woman experiences menopause differently. For some, it’s a time of liberation, free from monthly menstrual cycles. For others, it’s absolutely horrible. Hot flashes, night sweats, and weight gain are some common problems that many women face during this time. And, these issues can affect your life in more ways than you’d think. Hot flashes can be embarrassing when they come on in public, and night sweats and trouble sleeping can leave you feeling awful and tired during the day. We don’t need to tell you that weight gain is only adding insult to injury.
However, these aren’t the only symptoms that Menoquil talks about on their website. Menopause can knock your sex life down a few pegs, too. The loss of desire for intimacy, coupled with vaginal dryness, can leave your relationship floundering and frustrated. And, unfortunately, with the mood swings and irritability that many women experience during menopause, this can be a trying time for many marriages. It’s no wonder that so many women seek out medications and supplements like Menoquil to help them.
One reason why people tend to shy away from prescriptions is that they can be a little scary. And, this may be why supplements are experiencing a surge in popularity. People often think of supplements as more natural or less dangerous because you can buy them yourself. As for Menoquil, they do have a long list of ingredients on their website, many of which they claim to be all-natural extracts. And, while we don’t have enough time to talk about every ingredient, we’ll touch on a few. Firstly, we noticed that Menoquil lists several vitamins and minerals that you might find in a multivitamin. These include Vitamin D, Vitamin K, Calcium, and Phosphorus. All of these often come up regarding bone health. And, since a loss of estrogen can impact bone density, these vitamins and minerals make sense.
Additionally, Menoquil lists a variety of extracts, some with which we’re familiar (and some we’re not). They cite red clover flower powder and green tea leaf extract for lessening hot flashes, and black cohosh for relieving a handful of menopause symptoms. Menoquil also mentions soy isoflavones for increasing phytoestrogens (you might be familiar with the idea that soy increases estrogen in the body). It’s not easy to find a ton of evidence for these extract ingredients, although black cohosh is widely used as an alternative to HRT (hormone replacement therapy). Before taking a supplement like Menoquil, be sure to talk to your doctor to make sure you’re not at risk for any medicine interaction or adverse side effects.
Menoquil Product Packages
If you think Menoquil might be an option for you for relieving symptoms of menopause, then there some options. To buy Menoquil, you can opt for the “Starter” package. This is advertised as a bottle of Menoquil for about $40. And, it comes with a gift bottle of Super Green Tea Energizer pills. However, if you’re willing to throw down a little more money, you can try Menoquil and Progesteril (also known as the “Meno Relief System” deal) for just shy of $80. You can explore some of the other options, which include adding bottles of the original product, if you know that you like it already and want to order in bulk. Some of these offers also advertise free shipping, though you’ll want to check that in the terms and conditions when you check out.
